Well, I have been asked my opinion of the Ford vs Kavanaugh case that has been plaguing our television for weeks. I did not give my opinion because I was waiting on the outcome. What I did do was observe everyone else’s responses. Honestly, I was very shocked at some of them. Although he has not been proven guilty of a crime; his character, his job, and his family is at stake. But we fail to realize God warns us of this; you reap what you sow. In Galatians 6:7-8a it reads; “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption.
For me to relate this, I had to put myself in Ms. Ford’s shoes. Actually, I have worn Ms. Ford’s shoes. I am a woman who suppressed over 30 years of sexual assault and abuse. I am a woman who spoke out about what actually happened to her. The only differences between she and I, is that I saw one of my accusers on a daily basis and I did not come forward against my accuser like she did and faced the ridicule of many people today and for that I commend her for doing so.
During this #metoo movement, more men, women, and children are empowered to speak out about those things that has tormented them for many years and are not afraid to face their accusers. But then, many say how dare she wait all these years and attack this man before he is about to become a Supreme Court Judge? Actually, how dare he! How dare he think that he could do what he wanted and not reap the consequences of it; then or now? How dare he think that when his daughter goes off to college that she could not possibly meet a young man like he was? Did you know sowing and reaping is carried from generation to generation?
See we are looking at the Judge Kavanaugh and not the college Kavanaugh. They are both one in the same, but in a different season college Kavanaugh made some choices that is affecting him today. The seeds he had sown years ago are now harvesting. So be careful of the seeds that you sow, because you might not like the fruit.
